Many people are asking me the tips & tricks to clear Salesforce certification. 

Start from Trailhead.com

Once you have finalized the certificate which you are planning to, visit Trailhead.com and then find the trail mix. Now, pick the topic one by one do the hands-on in your free Salesforce Developer ORG. Doing hands-on will clear the concept and the basic understanding as well.

So, here are few tips from my side.

1. While Writing Exam Read the Question carefully and then 2-3 answers will be wrong that you will find very easily.
2. From Remaining Try to find the correct answer by applying the concept that you have learned
3. If not able to find the correct answer then find the wrong one then remaining is your answer
4. If in doubt go with Salesforce Native Functionality
5. Always go with Solution available out there like Automation Tools, AppExchange, Middleware before selecting Customization as an option
6. If in a situation where the question is not clear, read the question twice or thrice, and if still confused then go with Salesforce Native functionality
7. You will get approx 2 hours of time so utilize your time and do not be in a hurry
8. Be calm while writing exam and have faith in you
