Hi Amit Singh,
I see some of the people are recommending SFDC file export tool for mass export of attachments. When I try to downlaod that it was giving security warning. Do you have any idea on the tool..?
I am looking for exporting file for custom objects based on some criteria. Is there any other safe toll I can use for this..?
Could you please advise on this.
Thanks,
Sarala.
I have no idea about any kind of tool and I always prefer if the solution is available on AppExchange as other solutions can be harmful. You can try to use DataLoader which might be helpful but I have not tried.
I find more functionality in the AppExchange app “Satrang Mass File Download”. But, it is not free.
Yes there are many things which are paid.
Hi Amit, Nice article. In this case it would export all the data. I want to export attachments for the specific duration. Please suggest.
Hi Mahesha,
I have not seen any option to export for a duration from Data Export.
Hi Amit, How to restrict the duration of the data export?
I do not see any such options.
Hi amit ,Is Der anyway that we can can export specific object files and attachment in salesforce
Currently, I do not see any way to export for a specific object. You might want to use check some appexchange applications out there. Or you can download all files and then filter based on LinkedEntityId field
